Talo is approx. 15 minutes from the Niseko Mt. Resort Grand Hirafu ski resort by car. It will be constructed in Kutchancho, an area in Niseko where the locals live. Many facilities & establishments are in the area, including a hospital, banks, gas stations, restaurants & bars, & a supermarket that carries fresh local foods. Living just like the locals is possible. Unlike the Niseko Hirafu district, with its rows of resort facilities, visitors to Talo can enjoy relatively inexpensive accommodations, blend in with the locals, & enjoy the day-to-day life of Hokkaido. Talo is a simple, modern three-story building. The building exterior is comprised of various materials, including wood from Hokkaido, glass, & polycarbonate, creating a new style where feelings of transparency & quality coexist. Designed with a strong connection to Route 5, it is highly visible to vehicles driving on the national road. It will surely become a new landmark in Kutchancho.
